AGP earns special award for food

Malaga Airport has earned the “Airport Food Court Of The Year” award, given by the British multimedia group Moodie. The airport competed against other international airports such as Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Phoenix or Amsterdam.

SSP Spain, food supplier for Malaga airport had already been nominated for this award back in 2011, as reported today in a statement.

In this yearly “Food Court” category, awards are given to the best restaurant galleries and food courts in airports in which several culinary trends are offered, managed by one or more suppliers.

The award’s jury took into accounts the variety of options at Malaga airport food court, and praised its location and the fact that it covers all traveler’s needs, depending on their taste and budget.

This award has now been given to a Spanish airport for the very first time. Malaga airport is the first in the country to be recognised by the FAB awards, awarded by the Moodie group via The Moodie Report, their publication. The awards were announced early morning yesterday in Copenhagen.
