Lost and found at Malaga Airport

Malaga Airport donated 3.292 found or lost articles in the airport to San Juan de Dios Shelter, in Málaga and to Proyecto Hombre Association. Lost and found objects such as strollers, clothing, glasses, purses, watches, suitcases or belts were donated. These items were not claimed or picked up by either their owners or the person who found them after the three-month waiting period stipulated by the rules. They were dropped off at the lost and found office in the airport.

Last year, the lost and found office at the Malaga Airport received 6.948 lost and found objects, out of which 1.435 were transferred to their owners. Another 1.425 were handed back to the individuals who found them and, after the legal deadline, claimed them when they had not been picked up by their rightful owners. These objects were stored in the airport's storage facility. Malaga Airport Taxi have also placed items into the lost and found section.
