AENA has confirmed that a problem with a Ryanair flight from Stansfield airport in London this week forced the activation of the emergency protocol at Malaga airport.
The commander of the aircraft, which was scheduled to land at 11:20 AM, apparently stated that there was a possible brake failure, causing two fire crews from the airport’s emergency service to be activated. Technical sources explained that the plane had apparently had a problem with the flap, meaning it entered the landing strip faster than normal, and therefore had to travel on it longer in order to slow down, but with no consequences to the passengers.
Luckily for the passengers, the plane landed finally without any further problems and with the passengers unaware of any trouble.
