Andalusian airports have recorded a total of 16.648.458 passengers between January and October 2013. The stats show 3.49% less than last year during the same time period. Regarding flight operations, the airport that recorded the most operations during the first ten months this year was Malaga airport, with a total of 89.972, a decrease of 1.2% compared to last years flights during the same time period. Jerez recorded 36.916, which is a total of 9.3% more than last year.
Meanwhile, Sevilla recorded a grand total of 35.328 operations, 15.7 % less than in 2012; Almería, with 9.316 (-16.5%), Granada, with 8.971 operations (-7.0 %) and Cordoba, with 4,923 operations, 13.9 percent less than in 2012.
Regarding freight, the total transferred in the first ten months of 2013 was distributed between the airports of Seville, Malaga, Almeria, Granada and Jerez. Sevilles share is 4.2 million kilos, 4% less; Malaga's is 2.2 million kilos, 4% more. Almería received 10.070, an increase of 31%, Granada showing a decrease of 59.2% and 10.070 kilos and Jerez also showing a decrease of 86%, with 4.348 kilos.
