How do I pay for my transfer?

Payment is made in cash (euros) to the driver inside the taxi or minibus after each transfer. If you have booked a return transfer, you can pay the driver separately for each journey. You do not need to pay the total price all at once.

Are the prices per vehicle or per person?

Prices shown are always per vehicle (not per person). The price you see is the price you pay to your driver after each transfer. Your driver will be aware of the pre-arranged price.

If I need a transfer within the next 24 hours, can I book it online?

You can book a transfer online, but we cannot guarantee your transfer unless you have received a full confirmation email from our staff. If you you require a transfer within the next 24 hours we may not be able to confirm this by email. We cannot confirm bookings out of office hours.

Will I have to share the Car or Minibus with others who are not in my party?

No, when you reserve a vehicle via us, no matter whether it is a 4 passenger taxi car, 8 passenger microbus or 20 passenger minibus, the vehicle is exclusively yours for the journey. We only provide private transfers.

Which terminal at Malaga Airport will the driver meet me at?

In short - normally Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is for Non EU arrivals, Terminals 2 & 3 are the main Terminals for UK, Ireland & rest of EU Arrivals. 90-95% of all European flights arrive Malaga Airport at terminals 2 & 3 although during busy times some flights are occasionally diverted to Terminal 1. Your driver will monitor your flight and meet you at the right terminal.

Are the taxis and minibuses fully licensed and insured?

All supplied vehicles are fully licensed by the local Spanish authority and carry an up to date tarjeta de transporte (public service transport license). Be careful of bogus taxi transfer advertisers as there are a number openly operating at Malaga airport without licenses and liability insurance.

What if my flight is delayed?

All flights are constantly monitored so your driver will be at Malaga airport to collect you when you arrive. Therefore if your flight is delayed there is no need to worry about paying costly waiting time as we will be aware of any delay. Your driver will wait for up to one hour.

Can i order a baby seat or booster seat?

You can order baby seats and booster seats on the online booking form. There is a charge of €5 per seat. You can also bring your own if you would like to do so.

Does the transfer stop en route?

No, all transfers are direct, from door to door. Your taxi or minibus driver will only stop in case of emergency.

Are all fares fully inclusive or will I be asked for extra money by my driver?

All Malaga airport transfer fares are all pre-arranged with you and the contracted driver and are fully inclusive so no haggling with the taxi or minibus driver and no unpleasant surprises when you reach you holiday destination.

November smashes records In Spain

It has been a great year for Spanish airports and businesses associated with airports, such as taxi and transfer drivers. AENA, the company that runs most of the Spanish airports recorded a total of 183 million passengers in the first eleven months of the year, an increase of Almost 5% over the same period in 2013. During the month of November, this year 3.2% more passengers arrived and 4.8% more cargo had been transported.

In total, Spanish airports recorded 1.7 million flights through November and more than 616.000 tons of cargo were transported showing a very significant increase for the country. 13.000.000 passengers were recorded, of which 8.000.000 were international passengers.

Ana Pastor, head of the Ministry of Development emphasized that “the number of domestic passengers had grown more than expected” according to estimates by the Department, which also attributed the recovery to the internal demand.

Malaga airport recorded an increase of 6.4% passengers, behind Madrid Barajas airport, which recorded an increase of 9.3% in the number of passengers. The improvement has been described as “excellent”.

Barcelona airport showed an increase of 3.8% with a total of 2.4 million passengers and a total number of 35 million passengers up to the month of November 2014. Canary Island airports have grown 7.6%, while the airport at Palma de Mallorca grew by a more modest

Pastor linked the results to the new “model based on efficiency, rationalization and re-purposing” of the airport operator Aena, which managed to close 2013 with a net profit of nearly 600 million euros.

In the first half of the year, Aena achieved a benefit of 201 million and Spanish airports in the Aena network are expected to close 2014 with a profit of more than 590 million euros.
