Busy Easter holiday forecast

Movement at Malaga Airport keeps growing. Malaga airport has scheduled over 3.100 landings and takeoffs between this Friday and Monday after Easter Sunday with the busiest days being Saturday and Easter Sunday. AENA estimates that more than 56,300 people will be passing through Malaga Airport during the holiday.

Joining the number of people arriving by plane, there will be around 20,000 cruise passengers arriving at the seaport. Not surprisingly, hotels on the Costa del Sol have increased their estimates by 2 points higher than last year and place hotels’ occupancy at an average of 85% for the whole week and expect to exceed 94% occupancy for Thursday and Friday.

Malaga Airport Taxi estimates that over 1000 transfers will be accomplished during this holiday period by their vehicles.
